Event Info
Powder Puff is a fun-filled event in which a team of females from each grade level play a flag football tournament. This event was so fun and successful last year- but we hope to make it bigger and better in 2023!
Each team may have up to 50 players. Any female Reynolds student is welcome to play. Each player must sign a permission slip/waiver.
RJR males are the Spirit Squad and coaches (limited to 4 per team) (Each team must have an adult advisor. It can be a teacher, admin, coach or parent.) This Powder Puff Football event is scheduled for Saturday, May 20th. The game will be played at Bolton Stadium and the festivities begin around early afternoon .
Tickets will be $5 on the day of the tournament.
Proceeds will benefit the Mental Health Association of Forsyth County
For those not participating, T-shirts are being pre-ordered for $15
The football players and coaches will wear the t-shirts as uniforms, but the same t-shirts may be purchased by non-participants (but we want all students to join in on the fun!) Again, all orders for t-shirts must be received by Monday, May 1st.
We are having a “color out” for the game. Seniors should wear pink. Juniors should wear blue. Sophomores wear purple and Freshman wear green. Come to cheer on your grade’s team. (The ‘Spirit Squad’ will have white shirts.)

Game Day Schedule – SATURDAY MAY 20th at BOLTON

1:00 pm: Players/Coaches/Spirit Squad/Advisors/officials report to the practice field for warmups

1:30 pm: Gates open

2:00 pm: Game #1 – Seniors vs Freshmen then Game #2 – Juniors vs Sophomores (6 minute half times)

3:30 pm (approx): The ‘Spirit Squad’ Competition

3:45 pm (approx): Game #3 – Championship Game

Uniform: Black shorts, socks, athletic shoes

Mandatory Rules Meeting!!! Sunday, April 30th 5:00pm in picnic table area at RJR

Practice: Practices are scheduled by your captains and coaches for each team. If you do not attend practices, you will not be able to play the night of the game. Captains are to keep Lucy Neelon informed as to practice dates/times/locations.
